Responsibilities:
Determine project goals and priorities with management.
Coordinate project team members & contractors. This role does not have direct supervisory responsibility (such as hiring and performance/pay reviews) for project team members; however, it can involve coaching and mentoring others in project management practices; reviewing quality of work; and managing the integration of team members’ work
May be responsible for several projects consecutively.
Manage and communicate a clear vision of the project’s objectives and motivate the project team to achieve them; create a project environment that enables peak performance by team members.
Organize the project into manageable activity clusters (phases) and determine an effective approach to completing all tasks.
With Estimator(s), compile a complete and accurate estimate of a project, using reserves appropriately.
Analyze risks, establish contingency plans, and identify trigger events and responsibility for initiating mitigating action. Gather stakeholder input to rank the top project risks in terms of total impact.
Track and report to management on progress, cost, schedule, and other project matters.
Analyze the actual performance against the plan and make adjustments consistent with plan objectives.
Manage relationships with project stakeholders, including internal and external clients and vendors, keeping everyone involved informed of progress and issues in order to manage expectations on all project requirements and deliverables.
Involve functional expertise and Engineering & Estimation staff in design reviews and key decisions.
Manage the financial aspects of the project: budgeting, estimate to actual variance, capital project management, etc.
Plan and facilitate meetings utilizing effective presentation and written communication skills.

Bachelor's degree from a four-year college and 3+ years of related experience and/or training. (Other combinations of education and experience may be considered as equivalent at the discretion of Human Resources and the Hiring Manager).
Valid United States Passport and driver’s license
Preferred: Project Management Professional (PMP) certification; familiarity w/ AutoCAD
